Cool Pic. But I think the poster should read, "I find your lack of win disturbing. The Fail is strong in you."
It most certainly is strong in CCP recently. |

Oh, btw, will my trade trade/jf alt be allowed to log in to Jita anytime soon? Neighboring systems are not acceptable alternatives...

I agree with most of what you say in your post. However, business schools, Harvard included, do teach ethics, and it is a course required for graduation.

Those who most need to take such a course in ethics, such as CCP's management, are the ones most likely to ignore anything taught in it anyway.

Entirely plausible scenario Hairlip. That does beg the question of exactly how CCP would "adapt and react..." |

If CCP were to say "There are currently no plans to introduce Non-Vanity Micro transactions in the near future" that is much more realistic and believable.
But that is just the art of lying without lying, Captain Obvious.
Let's explain it Barney style:
Owners/Shareholders of Corporation X are worried about losing a lot of revenue due to <revenue stream altering> Project Y, which is making some of their customers angry and already causing a loss of business.
CEO W of Corp X circulates internal memo telling all employees of Corp X, "Project Y is cancelled!"
5 minutes later CEO W holds a press conference and says to shareholders/customers/reporters, "Corp X has cancelled Project Y."
5 minutes later, CEO W circulates internal memo telling all employees, "Prepare to implement Project Z (which does exactly the same thing as Project Y) in 6 months."

A 'whistle blower' by legal terms is somebody who uncovers a company/organization's history or intent of legal wrongdoing. You can't break a NDA just because you're unhappy with them.
Isn't that where the anonymous leakage which contributed to so much to the current debacle comes in?

Edited by: Mechatronicus Anihilus on 01/07/2011 00:24:31 Edited by: Mechatronicus Anihilus on 01/07/2011 00:23:36 The concept CCP has that it can do whatever it wants with Eve because Eve is their intellectual property is being put to a pretty strenuous test at the moment. The profit motive can be a cruel master.
Being a relative newcomer to the game at not yet two years old, Eve and everything in it is still a novelty. Has anything even remotely like this ever happened in the past? Mongo user rage and CSMs flown to Iceland for emergency face-to-face meeting? |
